IG902 no external network

I'm having a difficult time getting the IG902 network configured correctly. I can only connect to it on GE 0/2 bridge mode. Everything else is a fail. GE 0/1 (set to dynamic) is connected to the router. It has an IP address and I can see that it's listed as client on the router, but there is no external network. Also I cannot connect to the IG902 from that IP address (it happens to be 192.168.1.184). I've also tried to connect the IG902 to the router by WiFi under client mode. Sometimes it connects to the WLAN network but not always, and when it does there is no external network. I've also tried a SIM card, but no connection to an external network.

Am I missing something basic? At this point it's anything but plug and play.
